It is often said that it is better
to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all. The June concertÕs Summers of Love
themes "Love Gone Wrong" investigates the ups and downs and whys and
why nots of love.
Come to Pioneer Park early to enjoy
your picnic dinner on the grass, or treat yourself with goodies from the hot
dog or ice cream vendors. Bring
your family and friends!
URGENT:
Concert location has changed!
After further review of the park's condition for a picnic pops concert,
the Nevada County Concert Band deems it necessary to move the June 25 concert to the Pioneer Park's
picnic grove area. Pioneer Park's field in front of the band shell has
taken a beating this winter, and is not currently suitable for the fantastic
picnic pops concert experience that we wish to share with you.
But never fear! We have plenty of good music and fun times to
share with you - but at a different corner of the same Pioneer Park. It's
still accessible, has plenty of shade, lots of picnic tables, and a beautiful
creek too.
Signs will be strategically placed to guide you from the band shell to
the new location at the picnic grove. You might even like it better
there!
